Treatment in London
Detox
Treatment starts with a period of detox, which is focussed on calm and relaxation, and is closely monitored by a dedicated therapist who will meet all of your emotional and medical needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Road to Recovery
You will then start on your individual treatment plan which will be prearranged with your therapist and devised to suit your needs and give you the best chance of recovery possible. It can include a variety of aspects such as therapy sessions, psychotherapy, creative courses and mood management techniques.
Aftercare
After your recovery plan is complete we will continue to offer you a variety of aftercare options including telephone and Skype chats offering a sympathetic and encouraging ear and, occasionally ‘top-up’ residential stays, depending on your needs. Once the hard work is done it is important to have a support network to keep you focussed in the day and weeks following rehabilitation to avoid relapse and give you the best chance at lasting recovery.
Family Programme
We will also support your family and friends through this challenging time. They can often be the forgotten victims in addiction, with feelings left hurt and guilty at having inadvertently supported the addiction, for example by excusing behaviour, providing financial support etc… Our sessions, either individual or jointly with the patient, will offer an insight into the nature of addiction enhancing understanding and give practical advice and support on moving forward from addiction. Having future plans can offer a great incentive to patients during recovery and loved ones can play a part in this process.
FAQs
Is it okay to have visitors during my residential stay in London?
Family are not only welcomed at Priority, but encouraged as a vital part of your recovery process. The only time that visiting is reduced is during detox when patients need to focus and avoid undue emotional stress. But regular updates will happily be given to loved ones at the patient’s discretion.
How much does treatment cost in London?
As with other private medical facilities, there is a cost involved in treatment. A weekly fee is applicable to Priority’s services, which will include accommodation, food and drinks and of course your tailored treatment plan.
Whilst other services are available on the NHS free of charge, accessing them can be difficult and involve waiting times. Our dedicated, individualised services offer the best options for you and support the best chance of recovery. We believe that once a patient has sought help, getting started as soon as possible is important.
